It could be the additional shaft before the paddles that the copies fail to include. Or is it the strange little 'V' cuts at the end of the paddles? This, the ORIGINAL design of the ZEDWRENCH took off in about 2010, and became a favourite wrench of many lock pickers. Unavailable for over a decade, we reached-out to some previous customers, and one came through! He sent us his original ZEDWRENCH, we got the drawings done and had them made. What a story!

Note the difference between this version and other zedwrenches, it's not only the twist in the main shaft, but the length of shaft before the spade. Imitations don't have that aspect, the main shaft connects directly to the spades, yet it's those added lengths that make this the favourite tension tool among many lock pickers, and a special tool in any pick set.
